Back in 1951, Bertin Valcourt and his wife Géraldine founded the funeral home in St-Quentin, the first of its kind in the region. Since then, 56 years of progress and quality services have been offered our clients.   

In 1951, Bertin Valcourt became the first professional embalmer of the whole region, acquiring the first hearse/ambulance in St-Quentin.

In 1981, his youngest son, André Valcourt, also became a licensed embalmer.

In 1987, André Valcourt purchased his father’s funeral services firm. Over the years, the Valcourt Funeral Home Inc has made it a point of honour to acquire the most up-to-date equipment in order to provide the best service to families in mourning.

Our company is a local firm. It has become a part of St-Quentin’s history, and we are proud to be recognized as pioneers in our industry.
